The club will be starting a regular weekly track session at Amble from 12 May. Groups will be sorted by goal rather than ability, so different groups will work on speed skills, tempo running, etc.
Sessions will start at 9:30am and last about an hour. Sessions are free for club members.
It would be useful to have a snapshot of current ability for runners starting the sessions. If possible, try to get a time for a set distance (3k / 5k) before the first session – the Saturday morning park runs in Newcastle would be ideal for this.
All abilities are welcome. The sessions will be coached, so we’ll work on technique as well as fitness.
