Frog Graham...
SwimFor those who like the open water ... Frog Graham. The idea comes from the Bob Graham Round of 40 or so lakeland peaks in 24 hours - but you swim as well.

There is a group from Tynedale who are planning an attempt for this summer, and any takers are very welcome. I'm trying to get the date agreed, but it will be July I think.

Mike

PS. e-mail me for more information; I can't figure out how to post the PDF guidebook on the web site. The route is roughly...

Keswick Moot Hall
Skiddaw
Swim across Bassenthwaite
Grisedale Pike
Hopegill Head
Whiteless Pike
Swim across Crummock Water
Red Pike
High Stile
Swim across Buttermere
Robinson
Catbells
Swim across Derwentwater
Keswick Moot Hall

I looked it up after you mentioned it before...you didn't mention the running bit then! Would like to give it a go one day - not this year though - maybe next year - along with Fred Whitton! Maybe not at the same time though. By the way, you can now do Fred Whitton with your own chip which you send off for - allowing you to do it when you want, and split it up a bit...

Also - about the Froggy thing - you're not s'posed to have support to lug your stuff around - bit of a bummer!

The Bob Graham round makes even hardened distance atheletes quail. Most who try it fail, it makes a marathon seem like a gentle stroll. The frog Graham....my god it's a good idea but must be close to an impossibilty to do in 24 hrs, unless it shortens the course hugely. I'd love to spend three or four days doing it...now that's a target I might hit.
